Miscellaneous pics of Buenos Aires

Hola Amigos-

Here are some photos of BsAs. They are as follows:

1- The famous Casa Rosada. If you squint really hard, you can maybe see Evita (or is it Madonna?) on the balcony to the left.
2- The grave of the lady of Argentina.
3- Some masoleum's at the Recoletta cemetary. Here the most notable and wealthy bury their dead in a small city of elaborate (and possibly obstentatious) mostly marble mauseoliums.
4- The obilisco. A giant obilisc in the middle of Avenida Corrientes, this huge avenue that could easily be Toronto or New York.
5- Oh the dogs! Porteños (as-- residents of BsAs) love their dogs! These professional dog walkers are everywhere during the week. Sometimes they tie a whole bunch of dogs to a post while they're off somewhere. What amazes me is how well behaved these dogs are. This walker had 20 dogs in his command. A feat he was quite proud of!

more coming...
